Mary L. Ottinger, D.P.M.
Dr. Mary L. Ottinger began her journey in medicine and medical academia by obtaining a Bachelor of Science from North Dakota State University. Dr. Ottinger furthered her education with the Doctor William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, where she was awarded a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. She then completed podiatric residency with the J.A. Haley Veterans’ Administration Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Ottinger holds memberships with the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association.
Board Certified in Foot Surgery, Dr. Ottinger is a standing Fellow with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a standing Diplomate with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Ottinger holds a membership with the Podiatric Medical Staff at University Hospital, and has been with the Foot and Ankle Group since 1984. A published scholar of medicine, Dr. Ottinger has contributed two articles to “The Journal of American Podiatric Medical Association”, and a chapter to Podiatric Dermatology.
Kent E. Kronowski, D.P.M.
Dr. Kent Kronowski graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a BA in Microbiology and earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He went on to complete his residency at New Berlin Memorial Hospital in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The cold weather drove him south to enter Podiatric Practice with Drs. Mort Wittenberg, Kile Kinney and Mary Ottinger in 1984.
Dr. Kronowski is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a member of the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association (GPMA), American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM).
His interests include spending time with his wife, trail running, watching ice hockey and keeping track of his 2 children as they pursue their careers in Atlanta and Los Angeles.
Mohammad H. Qureshi, D.P.M.
Dr. Mohammad Qureshi completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. He went on to complete his doctorate in podiatric medicine from Scholl College of Podiatry in North Chicago, Illinois. After completing his DPM degree, he returned back to Michigan for residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. During his 3-year residency, he was trained both in conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle care. He also worked in a wound care clinic during his residency and took part in regional podiatric conferences and workshops to advance his training. He completed courses from the AAFAO and ACFAS during his training.
Dr. Qureshi moved to Augusta, GA in 2021 to join The Foot and Ankle Group P.C. and is looking forward to providing podiatric care to those in the greater Augusta and Martinez area.
